Regarding Steel Company

It is worth mentioning
I have already spent easily more than what this game will cost, just to print out Squad Leader in double size format
1/2 infantry counters increased to 3/4 and 5/8 inch vehicle counters increased to 1 inch
Not to mention the effort needed to make them.
And the point?
It indicates clearly what I will do to get a wargame that looks the way 'I' want it to look.
So if you are designing a digital wargame to simulate the same scale of combat, that being squad tactical, and you make it with fancy 3d graphics and cute animations, you won't be amusing me, or selling it to me.
I'm a grumpy 65 year old grognard and you better give me what I want, or stop trying to market games to me.
Currently in squad tactical, Squad Battles from Wargame Design Studio WDS is the company selling wargames I will actually buy.
I bought Lock n Load tactical digital, don't like it, takes too much computer muscle for too little return.
I like Valor and Victory more than LnL TD but it still takes too much computer for too little return
Second Front totally stumbled. Very nice 'looking' won't run on my computer.
Battle Plan looks nice. Likely won't run on my computer. Nor will Headquarters.
Battle Academy, old software now. I am MUCH more likely to play it than the new stuff.
At the squad tactical level, I want it to look like Squad Leader and play like Squad Leader or else I am just going to pass on digital and play Squad Leader.
