Proposition for a League of Anachronicals Derby

I like Time Warp. And tournaments.
Why not combine the two ?

Inspired by the excellent Chaos Tourney and Historical Opponent Miror League, I would like to organize a new league where the great of this world will have to fight to prove who, from History, deserves the temporal hegemony on his territory.

Let’s gather several armies, as far apart as possible in time, for the League of Anachronical Derby.

Each division will be composed of 6 to 8 participants, according to the number of registered and challenges selected (7 for now, maximum), and will play each match (5 to 7) from the list, in a mirror, so as to face each opponent of its division in a match.

Here is the list, tested, open to suggestions. Some matches are unequal, but not too much (except for the Achaemenid, who, for now, are unbeatable).

In addition to a point ranking of the participants (counting rules to be determined, TDC or HOML), there is a faction ranking to crown the winner of the Derby, all divisions combined.

What do you think ?

It seems like a neat idea for tournament. I'd join.

TBH, I don't really like tournaments with fixed lists unless it's a theme I really, really like, so I'd pass on this one.

I'd prefer something more along the lines of players having two lists, one ancient, one medieval, and they play opposing players' lists in timewarp - ancient vs medieval.

Is it a problem if the two events overlap ? Don't want to break tradition.
So maybe 4-5 matchs and running it in september/mi-october. 6 weeks to 4-5 matchs seems ok, what do you think ?

Fine by me, would just prefer if you don't start the same week.
