I feel I must stand up for my fellow Scottish wargamer. Hunter does not have to take a bribe to lose games as he has the skill and capability to do this without financial inducements being offered.
The picture actually shows him going round the tables begging alms from his fellow wargamers with his usual tales of 100 hungry children and many undernourished armies to support. He demonstrates his state of abject poverty by wearing an old tee shirt and a pair of well lived in shorts.
