For Beta testers and everyone else: When would you like the 1941 scenario for the BJRModVer2.00 to start? Here's my response: I propose starting the 1941 scenario in January after the fall of Yugoslavia but before the attack on Greece. This will allow the Axis player to completely concentrated and build up on Russia or divert forces to take Greece and maybe launch an offensive in North Africa.

I'm really excited about the 1941 scenario that we, well mostly Borger, came up with for our mod. We're using this scenario to playtest game balance in the mid to end games in our beta testing for BJRModVer2.00. We've decided to start on February 20(ish), 1941. This is the last turn of winter in Europe and the Axis have forces positioned for the invasion of Yugoslavia and Greece and / or transport to North Africa. The DAK is in position to be transported to North Africa or the Axis player can decide to rail it to the Russia front for the upcoming invasion. Yugoslavia can be invaded on the first turn; however, I like to wait until the next turn when winter is over and I invaded both Yugoslavia and Greece. What I do with the DAK and North Africa I can't tell as I'm currently playing Borger and Paul and don't want to give away my strategy. :D

By the way, both sides start with a number of labs and technology levels consistent with a baseline research strategy that started in 1939.

I like January '41 over June...one should have the option to make tradeoffs between concentrating on the Balkans vice North Africa vice an early Barbarossa.
