Here is my very humble mod to the Kingdoms interface. It's a simple graphics and text mod, designed to add a little color variety to the graceful gray-on-gray information panels in the original game while also helping to improve small text readability. Extract the files to a location of your choice.

Installation instructions will be in the message below, due to attachment limitations.

The mod includes the use of Atkinson HyperLegible fonts for small text and number display. This font is renowned for its readability across different monitor resolutions and font sizes. If eyestrain is an issue for you, try out the 'More Atkinson' option found in the installation instructions.

Here are the installation instructions for Modest Mod. Unzip them anywhere you like. You may use any modern word processor to read them, such as Notepad:

UPDATE 1.08.01 Changes

Thanks to AGEOD for the new update!

Version 1.08.01 brings lots of good things, but it does overright 2 Modest Mod files, so you will have to reinstall them to fully use the Mod with the Update. The affected files are:

Building_Panel_Frame (which goes into the Kingdoms Data/UI/Textures folder) and
font (which is the mod file option you selected - from the three available - and which goes into the Kingdoms System folder)

As usual, back up the original files before you replace them with the mod files.
