Slitherine

I bought a new PC about a year ago and I've been trying to install this game on and off ever since. I always get the same error, to install disc2. Slitherine tech support tried to help me for a long time, but nothing worked so I gave up until I tried again today. Same error. There's a lot of computer savvy people, so I thought I'd possibly get some ideas posting this here. All my other Matrix/Slitherine games gave installed without any problems. I now have Windows 11.

This is really weird indeed. So you contacted support@slitherine.co.uk and they found no answer?

As a workaround, if you bought it at Slitherine, you are provided with a Steam key, and the installation method they use will be different.

Thank you for your quick response. However, I'm not a Steam user. I'll just keep playing Empires which is a great game. It appears you're working on an update for it. I'm really looking forward for that.

The error is almost always because the installer didn't download correctly.

How can I get the installer to download correctly? I've downloaded it around 10 times over the last year.
