Hi all,

I'm playing a PBEM game at the moment and a strange thing has happened!

I've just recieved my next turn and it should be December 10, 1939.....how ever the game is saying November 10, 1939 so I've lost a whole month (and playing as allies so a lost month is more damaging to me!!!!)

Is this a known issue? Does anyone know what might have caused it?

I would check with your opponent. Perhaps he sent you the wrong turn.

Cant be that because a) all my units are where they were at end of previous turn and b) there should not be a November 10, 1939!!!!!!

Its October 11, then October 31, then November 20 then December 10!!!!! It might just be a glitch some where, will see what happens when he sends the save game back!

One thing I did think was that he has chnged the name of the saved file (frm allies_v_axis to allies_v_axis_mikey) Now I assume you can do this when you download (choose save as option) or you can of course change the name by right clicking on the file itself....would this effect the data? (I wouldn't have though so but im sure theres more computer savvy people out there!)

The same thing happened to be once in a game against Borger over a year ago. It only happened that once. It's never happened before or since.

Well gues what? A new game (with someone I hope will finish it!) and the same bug!!!!! Grrrrrrrr

Well as I'm the allied player and its was only 19 Jan 1940 (now actually 19 Dec 1939!) its (IMO) more of a help to the Axis player so I'm more than happy to continue playing but I do have 1 question....

AFAIK countries will enter the war based on the month and year NOT the game turn...is this right? For example will Russia still enter the war in October 1941? (give or take a turn)
