As an old BA tabletop player back in the 1st Ed days this is interesting. Particularly if there is intent to have multiplayer, given the random unit activation sequence in the tabletop game. Hope a solution can be found because multiplayer is where BA would shine as a PC game.

My cash is waiting..:)
(PS- I see there's at least one other game at Steam (a cartoony affair) called 'Bolt Action', let's not confuse it with this one)

For anyone who played tabletop - was it indeed good and it keeps your hopes up, or does it seem like just nostalgia speaking?

Ah sweet nostalgia, I played tabletop stuff in the 1970's and it still has a strong following nowadays like these guys..:)

This looks really promising! I love turn-based WWII strategy games, and bringing the Bolt Action tabletop mechanics into a full 3D digital battlefield could be exactly what fans have been waiting for.

For extra realism we need to have an option for a really terrible paint job.

Looking forward to this title and thinking how much money it will save by not having to collect -- and paint -- miniatures and terrain. Hopefully, they will add support for a multiplayer co-op campaign in the future.
