Ardennes DLC German Campaign Voice Mod: English w/ German Accent

In Headquarters - World War II by Slitherine Software UK Ltd., when playing the German side, Slitherine made the design decision to do all German voices spoken in English with a very British accent. To me, this sounded sort of off-putting. I expected the German voices spoken in English, to have a German accent. So, I decided to mod the voices to do just that.

This mod replaces all German voices spoken in English in the Ardennes DLC German Campaign with a new voice speaking English with a German accent. The speaker for "Martin Naumann" is named Daniel, and he works for Amazon (hint: I used Amazon Polly Neural Text-to-Speech engine for this conversion).

There are two versions I have prepared: One is for those using JSGME with Headquarters - World War II. The other version is for those who do not use JSGME and wish to install this mod manually.

Downloads:
Manual Installation Version:
Ardennes DLC German Campaign Voice Mod_English with German Accent_251128

JSGME Version:
Ardennes DLC German Campaign Voice Mod for JSGME_English with German Accent_251128

I also posted the download links on the Steam Discussion for Headquarters - World War II.

Note: Use this mod at your own risk. ALWAYS save your original files in a safe place (or use JSGME) before making any modifications.

I recommend that you also download and install the Base Game German Voice Mod for HQ WW2, which provides English with German accent for the German Normandy campaign and all squad "barks", for consistency. Available here:German Voice Mod: English with German Accent - Base Game
