This thread is for reporting the WTC25 Round 4 match results

Results of all games in all Round 4 matches should be posted in this thread.

All the games that are to be played are listed in the tables below and in the challenge thread, there are eight matches each of four mirror games, one mirror game in each period. This is a total of 64 games but only one mirror game per player.

The winner should post, or in the event of a draw, the player with the lowest % damage received. If both players received same damage either player can post.

Please post using the Round 2 Match number 1 to 8, from the tables in post below, with the period and identify if game (a) or (b). Then add each of the players final % loss (highest damage then lowest damage) as shown in the top left of the match (game) screen on the final turn. Please then add any description/narrative you feel like adding.

The results tables are in the next post and will remain at the top of this thread.
The tables will be updated every two to three days at the top of the thread.

The scores for the teams will be periodically updated as ranked Team Scores in the ranking thread.

The deadline for completion of Round 3 games and posting results is 24:00 UTC 27th November.

Issueing a Slow play complaint against Alpl14

it has been over two days since I got a turn back from him.

Situation resolved complaint withdrawn.

Match 7 Period 4a

Solemnace's Germans defeated Alpl14's French 42-0

Alpl tried his best but his men on the German left lost the race to a high hill and found themselves being outfought and bombard by artillery and crossbows and his cavalry on the flatter ground on the German right found themselves facing an equally dominating bombardment and hinder by both a smaller hill and a stream could do little as they were shot to pieces despite there best efforts to out flank the Germans.

A very quick game once my opponent showed up.

zmd defeated tyronec 41-13

It's a tough battle , my army taken a lot of arrows , most of my skirmishers broken. Fortunately , my main line barely survived and left wing veteran on the high ground made a breakthrough, my right wing war chariots for delaying made contact later, they broke one squad infantry which made points overline, if not , the situation would be much more terrible.

Cherebuschka defeated Lynx 44-15
Interesting map where as the imperials, I got to use the heights against a smaller elite force of my opponent.

P4b
Cherebuschka defeated Lynx 43-18
A race for the hill where I aimed to break his center and where Lynx tried to win on the wings. The center broke before his wings could exploit their success, a game closer than the score suggest.

Match 5 (ursa major v. lupi belli)

Period 4a Chris Townsend's Germans defeated Indibil's French 45 to 12.
Period 4b Chris Townsend's French defeated Indibil's Germans 48 to 20.

In match 4a, Some of Indibils knights got tangled up in some woods, and made a decisive impact on their flank when they emerged, but it was too late.

In match 4b, there was a tremendous clash of lines, with both left flanks emerging victorious, and the decisive struggle in the centre could have gone either way.

Despite all the misfortunes that befell the Romano-British army, it could not stop the auto-drops and auto-breaks affecting the Anglo-Saxons.

With the benefits from terrains,Romano-British weaker infantries finally held the line against Anglo-Saxons warbands.

Rafydedel Romano British defeats Galou AnGalou Saxon 58-29

Cavalry and number overwhelmed the warbands who could not afford any lack of luck.(let alone their habit to push too hard and give opportunity to their opponents to flank them).

Game Period 1a

Stones1985 (Charming Champians/ Assyrians) beat anderarcos (Desperta Ferro/Philistines) by a score of 41 to 2.

The Philistines got off to a bad start when their Light archers and Heavy Chariots moved towards a steep hill covered in Assyrian archers. There were too many for them to handle and they were shot up badly. When they fled it left the Philistine line without flank support and the Assyrians were able to roll it up. .
