What's the best way to install PC2 on my new computer? This is the first time I've had to do this.

steam or site version, either way it's almost the same

on steam, install steam by downloading the installer, and running as admin, eg right click install as admin, then once installed, make sure it's runs in admin mode on auto start.

on the side version,

download the installer from your mypage part of the site, and again once it's on your pc in your download folder, right click and install as admin, then once installed, make sure the game is updated with the built in updater and your good to go, doing this with the DLC's and patches etc will make sure all the correct file permissions are set from the start and tbh your good to go

With Steam the backups will be automatically kept

I bought a new computer running windows 11 and when i try to install the base game for PC2 i receive the following message : setup has failed to detect a base game !
i started the instalation in admin mode such as suggested above
what must i do ?
