Bob has noted an important rule point that we do not often come up against.
Elephants do not count as mounted but are a separate classification. This means that they cannot start in the flank zone but also it means that they can enter it without having to roll a CMT as there are not foot either.

Thanks David.
I have a practice game with Jerry tomorrow so, for the benefit of all, I had best announce that my army will be Portuguese Colonial.

Another update. David Elks will join us, so we are now 9.
It would be great to have one more player. Or, even better, three more to reach our max of twelve.
So, are any more of you intending to enter?

Correction to the Draw. I put Keith playing Dene but should have put Keith to play me and Chris to play Dene.
Sorry

All, results of round 4 as follows. Some excellent games.
Ray 59.5
Dene 54
Paddy 50
Paul 40
Dave 37
Keith 29
Jerry 25.5
Tom 7
As you can all see I struggled and have concluded, for the future, that I will choose armies with max possible number of superior troops and the maximum possible number of generals! This may be sufficient to defray my incompetence.
Hope to see many of you in December.
Tom
Bob 17.5

Congrats to Ray, sorry not to have been able to take part (due to prior commitment) and even more sorry to heat that Chris could not participate, but good to hear things are not too serious. I was hoping to bring Colonial Portuguese as well had I been able to take part. but I had I done so, it seems I would have been more likely to be propping up the bottom of the table than Tom!
