As you may know, we are currently experiencing critical issues with the ongoing Panzer Corps 2 tournament. Specifically, the scoring system has not been correctly assigning points at the end of rounds.

Since fairness is essential in any competition, we want to remain transparent with the community and ensure that all players are treated equally. To guarantee the proper running of the event, we have decided to end the tournament at the conclusion of Round 2 and restart it once the scoring system has been fixed.

This means that players will need to sign up again for the restarted tournament. The structure will remain the same, but the technical issues will be resolved to ensure a fair competition. As compensation, the prize pool will also be increased to make sure you have a good reason to join back in.

Our developers are actively working on the fix, and we will share more details about the restart and sign-up process as soon as possible.

Hi, there was a small problem with the registrations for our Panzer Corps tournament, there was an unintended cap at 16 players.

This has now been fixed, anyone can join, and the starting date has been moved to July 23rd.

PLEASE NOTE: You DO NOT need to own Cyrenaica DLC to join and play the tournament.

For the first time in Panzer Corps 2 history, you will compete for a coupon prize pool. Prizes will be distributed as follows:

• 1st: $60 coupon
• 2nd: $50 coupon
• 3rd: $40 coupon
• 4rd: $30 coupon
• 5th to 7th: $20 coupon each
• 8th to 10th: $10 coupon each

The tournament will feature 4 brand-new scenarios with 15-days round length:

• Round 1: Bardia
• Round 2: Jarabub
• Round 3: Desert Arena
• Round 4: Benghazi

When is the deadline for sign-ups?

How does the scoreboard work? How are points counted in games?

we all wait so long for a new Slitherine Tournament there was no instruction on point scoring . then spend 2 weeks playing the first round and score 0 points what a disappointment. Suggest the first round be scraped and start with second round as the starting game

LOL-After the last "tournaments" when íears ago they were not able to count points as win/lose (draw), now my opponent gave up (vanished after 4 round) and I got 0 point. What an idiots wotk at there.

Any news about scoring problem raised on this forum by multiple players, multiple times?

There is a score problem. Round 1 must give the actual scores. If that is not possible then before round 3 begins all scores in round 1 like 1000 and 2000 must be resetted to 0, I think everyone agrees on that. It is a simple query on the database.

I agree with jeroenyi what a disappointment the scoring in round 1. I see two choices 1) give all players the score they made. 2) Delete Round 1 and replay and award the correct scores to all players Regards Brian

I would like to see organizers of the tournament step up and deal with it.
In FoW, Battlesector and HQ players can rise issue and have some response. FoW and Battlesector events are working perfectly.
PC2 is abandoned for years now. Even now when whooping 92 players decided to join the event. If devs want to kill multiplayer this is the perfect strategy. On top of that connecting to PBM games is pain and those errors are in game for years too. I'm betting good money that QA for multiplayer is non existant or tickets where pushed down so hard in the backlog that nobody gives a flying fok anymore. Three is no community manager for PC2 or that person is not doing his/her job at all. We can post here or on dead Discord channel all we want - none is reading...

And now I can't log in to 2nd round match up. This is huge waste of my time. I'm officially quit raging on PC2 single or multiplayer alike. I'm done with playing, reporting problems and most of all buying this orfaned product and moving to the green fields where players voice is being heard.

Can't login to the game anymore. "Querrying players" info box runs for ages every time I'm trying. You should be given victory after I stop playing. Very good game anyway so pity I can't continue... On the other hand I've lost heart for PC2.

Finally there is a reaction...
For me this statement should include some sort of solution for future communication problems. No-one from Slitherine is responding to Discord or Forum. We know there will be problems in the future and if you don't change anything it will be same situation [it can't be worse]. Increasing prize pool is nice gesture but I would rather hear: "this is mr Smith. From now on he will be responsible for communication with players and organizing tournaments. And we will have not 1 but 4 tournaments a year." Just like other games from Slitherine.
