How to get it and how to get rid of it and most important how too see how much you got.

You get it through lots of diplo.

You should get rid of it by not doing it but ... I don't think I have seen it ever disapppear again.

So how do you see how much you got and lost of the diplo frenzy.

You can't know where you stand on this. I plan to have the spy network provides the info from time to time at some point.
Once you reach your capacity, you get back 1 allowance per turn, if you do no diplomatic request or action (replying is ok), so it's meager.

Hmm not being able to do peace offers is a problem ...

Diplomacy is very powerful, altho not to the level of Empires. 99% of players won't be ever hit with this penalty. Currently its very negligible. I will suggest keeping gates for incremental increase the same, but increase baseline value by 4 times. -0.2 turns to -0.8 and so on.

The penalty is higher when you have high authority, as many things, part of the exponential difficulty of maintaining a high authority.

Yes. But most of the time its 0.3 or 0.4 if you are a typical player who tries to maximize Authority if they do get Diplo Frenzy in the first place. And 0.1 if you are efficient player. Thats really nothing tbh. Diplomacy worth so much more. Even ,my proposed 4x increase is underselling it, but at least thats a start to not trigger complaints.

I'll add a base cost depending on difficulty then. It will challenge experienced players without making life too miserable for the majority of people on Balanced.
