I was just wondering, what are the scale of the squares?

On the battle maps?
Is each square on the map 100 meters or bigger?

Each square is 1/4 of long bow range. Roughly 60 paces.
That, of course, is at the default models to men ratio. It breaks down if other scaling is used.
