We’re excited to announce Panzer Corps 2 – Frontlines: Westwall, the next chapter in the Frontlines series, focused on the critical battles along the Siegfried Line between September and December 1944.

After the collapse of German forces in the Falaise Pocket and the liberation of Paris, the Allies turned their attention to the heavily fortified German border. As commander of US Army formations, you’ll lead the charge through fortified zones, dense forests, and urban strongholds, from the outskirts of Aachen to the Saar region in southern Germany.

Frontlines: Westwall introduces a dynamic campaign that evolves in intensity. Early progress will come quickly, but the deeper you advance, the tougher the resistance becomes. The DLC features a wide variety of mission types, fortified enemy positions, and several new units and visual elements to enhance immersion.

If you’re interested in helping us test this upcoming content, beta sign-ups are now open. This is your chance to gain early access and provide feedback on the campaign before release.

Click here to join the beta.

We look forward to your feedback as we prepare to launch this new addition to the Panzer Corps 2 experience.

Quite unexpected to see another Frontlines DLC so quickly after Cyrenaica. That said, this is just an announcement, it will probably take some time until it is released and will have time to be fine-tuned.

Some things that immediately come to mind is that the more unique units with special traits and specific usage in mind that are not normally accessible can create some puzzle like scenarios and while interesting as a small addition, should probably not be overused. I also hope that lessons were learned after Cyrenaica and heroes will not be as overabundant and powerful. I enjoyed Cyrenaica a lot, but its heavy reliance on hero gimmicks over a short campaign was probably it main flaw.

Other than that, it will be good to play as the Western Allies again, even if importing the core form Bulge will probably not be an option as it could break the intended pace of the DLC.

It wouldn't be realistic as well, since Bulge is happening only in December 1944, and this upcoming one from September till December...

Wow, my noggin turned off I guess. Either I was thinking of this the other way around as thought it would be nice to bring this core from Westfall to Bulge, or I had some embarrassing chronological brain fart.

Indeed, but i like the amount of content per time. :D

I hope the devs kann keep this pace without burning out or something like that. But imagine...allied corps in that pacing...or soviet corps...or AfrikaCorps....that would be amazing!

TBH there are several teams working on PzC 2, and I didn't create the last Frontlines DLC (Cyrenaica). I know the folks who did, and think they've done a good job.

We *may* reveal at least a few tiny new bits in the first DD, but certainly the bulk of new additions in the last DD.

I'm fairly certain there's other content in the works, but it's not up to me to make far-reaching announcements. And when it comes to other teams they would be in a much better position to share details about their work anyway.

I'm with "You"_"Wecker"... we need more "Major Campaigns" to make PzC2 to be the continuing "Top Box-Office Headline" of this Gaming-Engine. Yes!... Sure!... these Mini-DLC's have their purpose!... are good and interesting... they have their place, but... these Mini-DLC's should not be instead supplanting or replacing the major-box-office presentations of the "Major-Campaigns" [Allied-Soviet-Japanese-Italian and Chinese] WW2-Conflicts.

As a Suggestion!... is it possible to "Organize more Development Teams"... to permit further Campaign-Creation to further this Catch-Up-Effort to make up for the falling behind in the making up of these Allied-Soviet-Japanese-Italian and Chinese WW2-Conflicts.

Allready present!... are "Skilled-Forum-Members" that could "Right-Now" fill that Role!. So "Lets-Make-It-Happen!". Once were past this WW2-Effort... there is still so much more territory to cover besides WW2... we should not be squandering away this precious "Time-Opportunity-Window"... to get things moving... . Now is the time to "Put-Those-Rocket-Boots-On!"... and turn on the "After-Burners!!!".

"What-Say-We-All!".

I'd like to get in the Beta. I've contributed to a few betas, including all the AO betas. Am I too late? I applied through Steam but only saw the announcement yesterday. Was busy with work but now have a couple of weeks downtime.

I don't handle this part, but from XP there's usually another batch (or several) of testers coming in during the beta stage. So you may still get in.
