If you play one on turn 1 and another on turn 2 you will get info of that we are in progress on turn 2 and again on turn 3 but I don't remember seeing any actual loyalty on turn 3, but on 4 I will get it.
So has anyone else noted something like this or do you never play spy?

I routinely play the RGD when testing the game, as I like to know who can backstab me and never saw anything strange.

OK you were partly right ... 50% so I need to see next turn if I get info as I play another Spy on the capital.
At turn 19 Yavus is still unknown and 2 new in progress and unknown.
save game from turn before

No worries at all — on the next turn, his loyalty was displayed (73), the message appeared, and the icon was correct.

But not in my game, where it was unknown for several turns until I spied again later.

You are confusing me. It's only a bug if the icon remains as showing "unknown loyalty" with a loyalty of 100, otherwise it's just bad luck on your side.

So its WAD that I don't get immediate knowledge but it will come eventually, but the same peer will later be targeted by another spy on nobility and be revealed there?
My feeling which could be wrong is that if I fire a spy on every turn for 5 turns I only get 5-6 known loyalties out of it as it either chose the same again or it reset or the eventual never occurs.
