I got a new windows 11 PC and installed the game anew, the gold edition. I also took old saved games from the old system of the "My Games" file.

But I cannot start a new game, or rather a new campaign. Instead of starting a new campaign when chosen in the main menu, the game redirects me to the main menu instead. I also cannot start a custom scenario, since when I try, I will be redirected to the main menu as well. I can only start individual scenarios. And load old games. Partially, at least.

What do you think could be the cause? And how would I be able to fix it? Thank you for your efforts.

Uninstall and reboot, check to make sure installation folders are gone, then reinstall as run as admin, do same with patches, once installed, run game as admin to start it.

Regarding saves, if something is missing on the new PC version, the save won't or may not work, so make sure everything you installed on the last version is on this one, or some saves will error maybe if they work at all
