Thanks for the update! The new late Teutonic list is really nice. It now feels like an interesting hybrid of German and Polish lists and seems to work nicely against the Polish with Lithuanian allies (not that those wars historically went that great for the Teutons but it seems very sensible for the theatre).

Thanks for the Update!

However, in case there are further updates, may I suggest a few points in Indian Lists that I made in the Indian armies, specifcially about the Indian Elephants and Indian Close Infantry.

To be brief, the Indian Hindu North, South and Rajput Armies should have elephants with Howdahs (Platforms) as they're depicted in the sculptures in the Pre-Sultanate period. Howdahs were not a Sultanate introduction to South Asia, they had been used before. I have posted examples in the thread.

Secondly, I had posted some Indian Infantry sculptures in regard to the design of the Indian Close Infantry. The current model of the Indian Close Infantry are bare chested, when in fact the Regular Indian Infantry from the Post Mauryan period (Post 180 BCE) wore armour of either scale or textile. To this end I had suggested switching the models of Indian Close Infantry with Indian Javelinmen, who for some reason have clothed model that resembles the typical Indian cotton made armours of the time.

I would only request the developer's team to look into these 2 visual changes in the Indian armies, all the sculpture photos and other information are given in my thread.

Also, I don't have Kingdoms yet, but do plan to buy it once my schedule allows it. In case, there is any information or input regarding the history of Medieval India is required in the new DLC, I would be very happy to contribute and make a thread here as I have a background in South Asian history.

PS: For some reason the website is no longer accessible from India, I've had to use a VPN to access this.

From what date should Hindu armies switch to using howdahs?

From roughly 8th century CE. The earliest I've seen in sculpture form comes from 8th century CE Rashtrakuta Empire in the Deccan. Before that another sort of platform was used in the 5th century as seen from the remnants of the Ajanta cave paintings, but painting is too damaged to really make out wheather it was a proper box style platform. So from 8th century onwards (700s onwards), both Northern and Southern Hindu armies can use Howdah style elephants.
