after a couple of games against my old dbm foe, i have made a couple of solid victories, however this felt in part due to non optimal army selection in part. He has a large mongol army. Could someone create an 800pt nomad list for a relative novice to help him catch up?
Cheers
Ben

Seljik Turks

4 x TC
1 x Bow poor x8
3 x Javilin poor x 6
7 x Turcoman LH average unprotected Bow/Sword x 4
1 x Bedouin LH average unprotected Lance/Sword
2 x Cavalry Bow/Sword Superior Armoured Drilled x 4
2 x Cavalry Superior Lances/Sword undrilled x 4

16 BG's 792 points

At least with this army you'll have a simular amount of LH, move second and you'll gain space. Either way it should be fun.

2 x 4 Arsiya. Drilled, Superior, Armoured Cavalry, Bow, Swordsmen
6 x 4 Other horse archers. Undrilled, Average, Unprotected Light Horse, Bow, Swordsmen
2 x 6 Foot archers. Undrilled, Average, Unprotected Light Foot, Bow

Yes forgot about the flank March tried it with a TC in Glasgow and that -1 you get with a FC was felt in fact out of four games with a TC the flank only came on once.

So I would take one less poor foot BG use points to get FC allow a Cavalry unit to flank. Don't send LH as Richaard says as people can ignore them but any type of Cavalry will drop a BG down a level if you charge there rear.
