Combat Mission Update?

I don't see of anything regarding the CM game that has been acquired. Certainly, the BF forum has nearly nothing.

Perhaps a YT teaser? Anything?

BF forum is off the rails as far as Trump derangement. TBH, it does reflect on Slitherine somewhat as far as the product. Whether he feels that way or not, Grammont's obsessiveness reflects on the product. He can't read/write all those Ukranian posts, watch all the YT videos regarding Ukraine, and be an elected member of his town's council, and still be an ambassador for the CM product.

Bump.
It's been almost a year since the acquisition of Battlefront and the Combat Mission series, and no news or information has been released.

Is there even a "Combat Mission" area in the Slitherine forums?

6 months since last post.

if there EVER was a game needing a DEV-Diary...it is this.

If you go to Matrix website, there is the link to the "How Hot Will Ukraine Get?" forum. It is pretty much dead otherwise.

If you go to the Matrix Community page, at least in my case, Malwarebytes raises a flag.

I hate to speculate what goes on behind the scenes.

The BF code was made almost entirely in a silent cocoon. To have it opened up, and critiqued, and transitioned into another entity can't be without issues. In my experience, when a company acquires another company, and they only have one real product; That aquired company will only be left on till they are seen as useless.

I am glad they are dumping Apple Products. They can ditch 'Real-Time' play also (for all I care). I won't purchase any CM2 'product' at this point. Every time I play I see another issue that I won't bother reporting. I played a game, playing both sides, and was amazed that a unit, that had surrendered, was feeding back information! No radio, no line of sight to any friendlies! If one were to have the ability to make a friendly unit surrender, that would be a nice gamey tactic.

I think Bryant is looking down, having a chuckle and thinking "Christ, CM is deader than me!" ( I played many hundreds of turns with him. RIP you kook).
