Does anyone know what triggers the arrival of Pappenheim's cavalry at the battle of Lutzen scenario?

I've played it a number of times and normally the cavalry arrive on turn 8 or 9 with the infantry arriving on turns 10 or 11.

I'm currently playing it from both sides and my opponent had the cavalry turn up on turn 8. Its now turn 13 and my cavalry have got totally lost, the infantry turned up on turn 10 as expected.

Pappenheim's cavalry have a 50% chance of arrival each turn from turn 7.

Reinach's infantry will arrive automatically if Imperialists suffer 15% routed, otherwise have a 50% chance of arrival each turn from turn 11.

they finally turned up on turn 14, they must have stopped to have a few drinks and a tumble or two on the way, I'm not expecting them to fight well as they are exhausted and hung over.
