US Army tanker here. It occurred to me how MPAT rounds in the game don't have proximity fuses that allow them to target helicopters as they do in real life.

If the game incorporated this feature of the MPAT round, it might dramatically increase the power level of the Abrams. However, it would make the topline Abrams more distinct from the T14. Additionally, you could balance it by increasing the time to aim and lowering the accuracy of the MPAT when aimed at helicopters. The idea is that it doesn't make the top-of-the-line Abrams able to fight attack helicopters at a 1:1 ratio, but rather, at a 1:2 ratio.

ex. 2 Abrams identifies Ka-50. Ka-50 fires first, killing one Abrams. Second Abrams fires and gets a lucky hit, thereby killing the Ka-50.
ex. 2 Abrams ambush Ka-50. Both miss. Ka-50 returns fire, killing an Abrams. Remaining Abrams fires again, killing Ka-50.

Realistically the easiest way to justify something like this is to also provide Russia with something as well. The Ataka missiles have variants (9M220O) that can engage helicopters. Add such a variant and make it something that can be armed on pylons.
