Am I missing something? Why can't I see them on the map? It's very cumbersome to figure out which cities have them as transports, where the train tracks actually lead without squinting at the minimap, or strategize about whether or not to even use the procured armed trains at all. I feel like this is an obvious element to have within the game (and it was included in the past games if I'm not mistaken) and should not have been removed, whatever the reason, because it actively impinges the experience of play.

Can't say if it's the same prob, but I once had roads missing on the map which were clearly set in the editor. Had them back after a steam file verify.

This vexing issue needs correction... as it disrupts the planning and execution of Unit-Deployment placement.
