Slitherine

Why do I get this message when I try to access the Strategic War: World War II forum (as well as War in Europe, both of which I purchased upon release)? Seems to me I have received that message in other forums in the past, but I am not certain which they were. I am having trouble installing the lastest patch (I'm running 1.29) Again, the message I see is "You are not authorised to read this forum." I see many other players have received the same error, but I didn't find solutions.

I think it's because those forums just don't exist through Slitherine. They are Matrix games, and there are freely accessible forums for them on the Matrix site:

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/

Why they are listed on the Slitherine I don't know. If I remember correctly, many years ago if you clicked on such a forum you were given a message or a link directing you to the Matrix forum, but that doesn't happen anymore, you just get the "not authorised message".

The only Slitherine forums that you need special access for are beta forums, which are limited to beta members.

I've raise the issue with the server team. Thanks for letting us know.
