Hello

I'm in the process of designing some scenarios.
During some tests I noticed that the AI always buys the same units, usually only 2 types, is that normal?

How can I tell the AI to buy as many different units as possible, or is that not possible?

Thanks and regards

Greetings.
I want to share my personal experience with you, regarding purchases by the AI, this situation is unpredictable and usually buys infantry and tanks.
I can manipulate this by making changes in the assigned (Equipment) file Purchase or nopurchase depending on the developer's taste, this forces the AI to buy what is available, although I have never seen it buy a plane.
Another way you can use and as you already made the comment that you were going to modify or edit the maps, well it does exactly the same thing, you modify the scenarios or maps to your liking and it helps the AI by adding units and giving orders, this replaces the poor gameplay of the AI to choose which unit to buy, because you already did it for it.
I hope this can at least help you a little.

From observation, when the AI loses all the main points it starts buying all sorts of cheap nonsense to make a jam of units although it could spend its prestige to buy really something useful in defense )

I guess AI can be boosted in intelligence quotient with scripts and triggers )

But the comp likes to attack first with infantry storming head-on and then shelling the defenses )

And I have never seen that the AI would buy its aviation or at least restore it if it is not written in the scenario initially )
