Battle of Metz (Allies Victorious)

Why do I lose all my aircraft right before the Lorraine/Metz battle? You have to buy new planes. Not sure why.

I'm not sure what you mean. Did you lose them in battle, or do you not have them in the inventory before the fight? Maybe deployment option isn't selected.
