I bought and installed the new Poland game but it does not appear anywhere in the game so I can play it. no link. help is needed.

For anyone to help you they'll need more information. Are you installing off Steam or Slitherine? What drive are you installing on? Have you changed your install drive at all? What OS? Etc. Etc.

I can't help as I have a dev install, so its done via our SVN and not through Steam or Slitherine. It installs very differently and we never have to install updates or DLC. Hopefully someone else can chime in with suggestions.

Failing that, tech support are the usual go-to for this kind of issue.

And to turn it around, why dont you tell everyone how you solved the problem, maybe someone got the same issue?

I also have problems with this DLC. Bought it and can't activate it.
I cannot update Panzer Corps 2 from version 1.11.01 to version 1.12.02.
I became this messages.
A new version is available, the upgrade starts and then an error message appears.

- What store is it on (Steam, GOG, Slitherine store)?
- Did you install any mods in the past?
- Did you try a fresh re-installation (including clearing game data)?
- A screenshot of the error would be very useful.

Do try to provide as much details as you can. Issues can have many, many reasons and the more you share, the higher the chance someone can help.

The second attempt is directly with the zipped update 1.12.02.

It brings me to the choice of language.
Then I get the message:

The installer has detected that an incorrect product version for product name does not exist on your system. The product version is required for the DLC (War Stories).

The only option is a new installation?

From what you are describing, it seems that some of the files you had got corrupt, or are no longer recognized correctly. Either is is something that can just sometimes happens at random to any data, maybe because a modded file is not recognized when data validation is performed.

To give an example, for one of my campaign runs I used an edited Units.csv file and it prevented me from doing updates on GOG correctly, as the game would get stuck when trying to get content form GOG Galaxy. While that might have been the store issue, not a game problem related to your own experience, I did fix it by making a fresh installation.

I'd say it's worth a try to reinstall the title, but definitely back up any save files or mod files you want to use to not loose them by accident. The IT meme of "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" is actually the correct solution in a surprising number of cases. It is something you will ultimately need to decide for yourself, but I'd give it a go before exploring other options. At least it's not Skyrim where restoring all the mods to working order can take a few days!

Since the new update everything is working.
I was able to install it without any problem, I still don't know why it didn't work with the last one.

Glad to hear things are ok. It might have been just some corrupt file as mentioned, but what matters is that it got fixed with a simple workaround.
