Ground only view?

There is an air mode but is there a ground mode (hide or obscure air units)? I've searched but not found a hotkey or view option to do this. I find the air units obscure the ground units and make the screen too busy.

These "Obvious Discrepancies" were never seriously addressed!. "Take-Note!!!"... and "FIX-IT!!!".

THisis one of the things that really made me scratch my head why they did not just copied the logic from PC1 where a button made the air units smaller so you can see ground.

Good Point!... I miss that "Feature" as well!. "The Alternative"... to also see the "Air-Units" as a stand-alone-visual without the obstructing confusing background visuals disrupting the clarity of the view would be welcomed as well!... meaning here that the "Ground-Units" would "Shrink" in size or become smaller relative to the Aircraft being displayed... so that now the Aircraft are the prominent visual entity.

That is a great idea but it would mean another set of icons. Admittedly, the icons just need to be 'shrunk' but I'm sure there is coding to make it all happen.

In the meantime, a function like the editor has to show/hide air/ground units would be very helpful.

Now!... on a "Further-Point-Of-Concern!":
Sometimes... my "Mouse" has a "Mind-Of-It's-Own!"... and makes a way-ward move off-track from where i needed it to be. Now!... it_ my mouse is inadvertently in the "Wrong-Place on the Game-Map!!!"... and i have lost track of my Unit and it's Position in the Game. I have to make a concerted effort at this juncture to make a search for my lost Unit and its area of concern.

To "Remedy This"... take a look at how the "Civilization Game Series" has dealt with this for a solution!. When your "MOUSE" goes "Awry"... all you now need to do... is just to "Click The Units Icon" on the "Task-Bar"... just once!... and your mouse pointer will now take you to "EXACTLY"... where you last had contact with it.
How Simple Can That Be???. Problem Solved!!!.

Strange problems you guys have :D Imo thats something you cant just play around if even neccessary.

I would prefer more sliders in the game settings, to adjust DvG for example ;)

I mean not being able to see at times 70% of your main units in a strategy game is admittedly a terrible UX choice.

But that doesn't preclude also a discussion about your issue, but perhaps no in this thread :D

Can you or anyone else provide a screenshot of this problem to make it more clear?

Only problem I sometimes have is that I cant read the combat predicitions because of the labeled cities. But since I have to do with designing maps jobwise I know that labeling can be a pain in the ass, so I am fine with it ;)

One way to work around this is adjusting the unit size. I had the same issue when i switched from PC1 to PC2. Watching the battlefield felt completly strange. But i raised the shown unit size and i got used to this. Now i have problems with the way PC1 shows the battlefield
