I'm reinstalling this game after a break and forgot what to do to bypass the opening video when loading the game. Can anybody help? Thanks.

If you mean manually bypassing the video, I usually just left-click. Pressing "ENTER" or "ESC" will also work.

No there is something in the game files you can delete, so you can just click the exe and it will go straight to the game but I forgot what it is.

I thought I might be misunderstanding

Look for this file:
Slitherine/Panzer Corps/Expansion/pc/Video/intro

All you need to do is re-name the "intro" file. That should make the game skip over the intro video. At least, it does for me.
