You need to have the FoG Medieval base game to participate and to have downloaded the LOTR module.
Sign up below with your Home Army and optionally your Map choice (N. Europe; Agricultural, Plains, Hilly, Wooded or Marshy OR Pot Luck).
Please do NOT edit your entry. If you change your mind about something then post a new entry, I will not be reviewing old posts after they have been processed.
LOTR is a player module, it is not an official mod. It is free. You must have v1.3. For more information about the mod see here: https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=115276
You will need to download it and copy into your FoG Medieval folder as follows:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/6ffo7m0i ... 3.zip/file
Download the file, decompress it and copy folder Middle Earth v1.3 into:
user/documents/my games/fieldofglorymedieval/multiplayer
AND if you want:
user/documents/my games/fieldofglorymedieval/campaigns
(the folder may be in a different place on different computers, it will be in the documents area and not where the game was downloaded to. On my computer it is c:users/Desktop PC/OneDrive/Documents/my games/fieldofglorymedieval/...
And thanks to SnuggleBunnies for the mod.
You can choose any LOTR army lists, to know what they are you will have needed to download the module.
To select a Map you need the Region (Med., N. Europe, Middle East) and the Type (Agricultural, Plains, Hilly, Wooded or Marshy - Mountain is excluded as it leads to maps being too restricted). The Regions for each army are listed below. If you don't select a map then it will default to Pot Luck.
So if for example you select an Dale army then for the Map you can EITHER select Pot luck (which will mostly be Agricultural) OR N. Europe and one of Agricultural, Rough, Wooded or Marshy.
By entering you are agreeing to abide by the rules https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=116445 and are committing to completing 8 games in the 8 week time period, If you are unable to commit to this then do not enter.
The competition runs from 12th October – 20th December (10 weeks)
Registration will close on or before 12th October.
If more entries come in after the spaces are taken I will open up another division.
