update folder says it is empty

I purchased the new war stories DLC. Downloaded it and also noticed there was an update showing and downloaded the update. When I try to extract the update a window opens that says the folder is empty. I can't install the new DLC as it says I need to update my game. Something appears to be missing....

Yes, the 1.12.02 download (amazing only 66 mb as opposed to normal gb updates) does not extract.

Though I preferred the 66 mbs to the, now, 2 gbs.
