I've seen in several mods the 15 cm, 28 cm and even 15 cm zwilling (dual) Gneisenau railroad guns but can find little information on them historically. The only mention I can find on any of them is the 15cm version. Does anyone else have historical information on them?

German artillery on the rails. German railroad battery Gneisenau in France in the second half of 1940.
The battery consisted of four 15 cm SK L/45 guns with ship's armored half-towers, one of which we can see in the photo.
It was the only railroad battery that belonged to the Kriegsmarine (navy), all others were under the command of the army.
After a brief use during the Polish campaign of September 1939 (under the operational control of the Army), the battery spent the rest of the war as part of the defense of the Atlantic rampart, stationed near Cherbourg until 1944.
