Slitherine

I'm playing the latest version. I was able to play the game and complete several scenarios. Now when I try to play, I cannot get past even the first turn in any scenario, without the game crashing with the following error message: An Unreal process has crashed: UE4-UEBA. I am not the first player to see this crash. But I have found no valid solutions listed on Steam. Steam passes the buck to Slitherine to troubleshoot. Will I get any help here?

8 or 9 times out of 10, it's because of either background programmes running that clash with the gaming engine or overlay apps being run at the same time as the game, or even permission issues with windows or a program not being given higher level permissions or wanting to run something in use at the same time the game wants it.

Best advice as always is to install game and or steam, eg both as admin, and run both as admin, and have a clean start up, with as little junk as possible loaded.

Also, do you have a current gen intel CPU? There are known stability issues with these.
