ADDING UNITS TO A PRESET CAMPAIGN

Hy guys,
for personal fun I’m trying to mod a bit the “Extra Nations” campaign directory, adding some army lists.
In particular, I tried to firstly add a new Prussian army list for the period 1699-1739, inserting some new units like Blue_Arkebusiers, Blue_U_Impact_Horse, Blue_U_Impact_Horse_Vet e Blue_Determined_Horse and all seemed working correctly, with the units displaying on the field and moving and battling like any other unit, except for the fact that they lack their proper “skin”, appearing as a basic model without texture as shown in the attached screen.
I want to underline that this happens though I added in the DATA/BATTLE/UNITTEXTURES/SK_PRUSSIAN folder the appropriate textures like HARQUEBUSIERS@DDS, HARQUEBUSIERS_LARGE@DDS, HORSE@DDS, HORSE_UNARM@DDS, HORSE_UNARM_VETERAN@DDS and HORSE_VETERAN@DDS, so I’m probably missing something but I’m unable to figure the right answer.
Anybody has any hints in order to solve the problem?
Thank’s a lot for every help!

Did you update the SKIN entry in the armylist.txt? For example the Swiss army in armylist.txt has this line in it:

SKIN IW_Swiss

directing the game to pull textures from the IW_Swiss folder in data/battle/unittextures

Hi mate,
first of all thank's for your help!
Initially I left in the armylist.txt the original skin entry: SK_PRUSSIAN adding inside this folder the textures of the new units, but it didn't work.
Then I tried to create a new skin entry named LMSK_PRUSSIAN and a new folder with this name in the UNITTEXTURES folder, where I added all the textures needed for the new units, but it didn't work as well.
Any other idea to solve the problem?
I'm quite baffled ...

It's difficult for me to understand exactly what's going on without seeing it. Can you PM me a link to downloading the current build, and I can take a look?

Greetings to the Diadochus of Alexander the Great :)

As I see on your screen Blue_Arkebusiers works fine, but Blue_U_Impact_Horse and Blue_U_Impact_Horse_Vet don't work correctly. The reason is missing textures for these units.
You had to check them in SQUADS.CSV. Their Asset Filename are Cavaliers_Unarm and Cavaliers_Unarm_Veteran. Accordingly, they need the following textures: Cavaliers_Unarm@.dds and Cavaliers_Unarm_Veteran@.dds. Just add these textures in the DATA/BATTLE/UNITTEXTURES/SK_PRUSSIAN folder and that's all.

Hy guys,
thank's a lot for your much needed help!
Reading the last post of Cronos 09 I understood which was the problem.
In fact I thought that the the right textures for Blue_U_Impact_Horse, Blue_U_Impact_Horse_Vet e Blue_Determined_Horse were HORSE@DDS, HORSE_UNARM@DDS, HORSE_UNARM_VETERAN@DDS and HORSE_VETERAN@DDS while the right ones were to be found in the SQUADS.CVS file. So after adding the right textures file, that instead are Cavaliers_Unarm@.dds and Cavaliers_Unarm_Veteran@.dds, every problem was solved.
