Game not working

Theres an issue Im having with the game, everytime I try to play it the launcher just freezes and nothing happens, how do I fix this?
Having the same issue (probably after the latest patch) - launcher just freeze up and do not respond to anything.
BUT if I put steam into offline mode everything works just fine.
