Dear players, first update regarding WTC.

WTC - 24 teams

19th July to 8th September - Recruiting

10th September to 24th October - Group Stage Games

25th October to 8th November - Knockout Stage - Round 1

9th November to 23rd November - Quarter Finals

24th November to 8th December - Semi Finals

9th December to 23rd December - Final

The above is based on having 24 teams taking part again so it could change.

The same army is used by each player throughout the competition

Periods are

All DLCs can be used for relevant periods

Only armies and allies within the time period can be used

Period 1 - 2500 to 701 BC
Period 2 - 700 to 100 BC
Period 3 - 400 to 1000 AD - No Arab Conquest or Andalusian armies
Period 4 - 1320 to 1500 AD

Welcome

We will be having 3 UK and Ireland teams. It would include or hopefully include the top ranked UK and Eire players. There may well be other options as well, for example a Europe team(s), Rest of the World team(s) and as a possible reserve for other countries.

Could you help out a little as well please to contact the guys.

It would be up to y'all how you make your teams. You may wish to do by having roughly equal rankings or top ranked players in one team, 5th to 8th ranked players in team 2 etc. Also choosing a captain for each team

The USA will have up to 3 teams.

We'd probably hope that team names will be used and their "Coat of Arms" once more.

We are still working on a format for games played. There will be group stages, but there may not be KO stages or we may implement a Swiss system, especially if Slitherine could help us with the use of their automated tournament system.

All - We are still in discussions with arranging format of WTC. That is just group games, group and KO games and now a possible Swiss system. Also what scoring system to use.

I mean，if a army like Kushite Egyptian 727-656 BC and Thracian 211-51BC,can I use them at period 2?
