Builing a gasgan army and notice the list says that armies for Hurrian 2254 BC to 1600 BC can have a 2-horse chariot as commander during this time frame: 'Commanders should be depicted as warriors or, if Gutian from 2190 to 2115 BC in a 4-equid platform car or 2-equid protochariot, or if early Kassite, Gasgan of Hurrian, in a 2-horse chariot.'

That is clearly incorrect as should be only 2-horse chariot commander from 1800 BC. 2-horse chariots were not in existence during the early period before 1800 BC.

This needs correcting in the list

I suspect that there was little bit of word-saving in finalising the list.

You correctly point out that light chariots did not exist prior to 1800 BC
The battle groups of light chariots permitted in the list agrees with that.
The only error occurs when you try to use a Hurrian list before the 1800 BC date.
The list restrictions should state that the Hurrian commanders are mounted on Proto-chariots before that date.
The rules don't distinguish between commanders mounted on Proto-chariots and those on 2-horse chariots.
Since there is no difference in their functionality in the game (whether on a Proto-chariot or a 2-horse chariot), I'm sure that you're opponent wouldn't complain if you use commanders on Proto-chariots.

I do note that the Gasgan list you are building is not affected.

Yes, I realise the list error is just for commanders but just pointed out for when you update and amend the lists for errors
