Has anyone had any luck with the game on steam deck? It seems to respond very slow to mouse clicks, I don't know if it's something with settings I can tweak or a specific proton that works better, but I wanted to be able to play this on the go and it just seems like it doesn't respond well.

I have almost abandoned the steam version of the game because it has been super slow for years now. I am only waiting to pull it up to complete Bagration and Germany as a standalone scenario to complete all achievements for Steam.

What do you mean by slow? as in low fps? unresponsive? laggy? and does that apply only to steam deck? I've only played it on PC through steam but seems in line the experience shown in every youtube video so far.
