I install all my games in C:\Games instead of C:\Program Files, so I installed Conquest in C:\Games\Conquest. But when I ran the 1.4 patch it still suggested the default C:\Program Files\... path, ie. had to point it to the right folder manually.

Suggest that future patches extracts the install game install path from HKLM\SOFTWARE\Slitherine\Conquest!\CONQUEST_PATH, instead of using the default

Very early versions didn't correctly set the path in the registry - I imagine that yours was one of them - and the patcher then defaults to asking for the path. Post patch all of the versions now correctly set it, so there won't be any further occurances of this.

If by "very early version" you mean "bought last week", then yes that's probably it

The "bug" exists in the version you download when you buy the game. As you say, it has been fixed going from 1.4 to .15

Hmm - I thought that the installer had been remastered. We'll check to make sure that is the case.
