Vassal Claims

Digging the game, but I've run into an issue with claims. During my current playthrough as Wales, I have a claim on Hereford (Mercia, England's vassal) but when declaring war on England I don't get the discount on authority for having a claim. Is this as intended? Seems like a bug given how crucial vassals are to the game.

Also, in the same game I'm currently allied with Scotland. When they pulled me into a war, I took a full authority hit of -14 as if I declared it. I'm guessing these are bugs.

Love the game, I know you devs will take good care of it like you have with other titles!

The Claim is definitely not a bug, because you cannot declare war against someone else's vassal directly. Therefore the DOW is against the liege. Admittedly this is an easy trap to fall into as a new player.

I can't say what happened with Scotland being brought into a war. It's a possible bug, but there are some other possible situations that could have occurred.

The extra cost of DoW on 3rd party should be fixed for 1.01.

I sure hope that gets changed if it isn't a bug. Declaring wars on some nations would be an absolute nightmare as long as they have vassals on the borders. Especially considering France is not too far off, I can't help but think of them. I feel a claim on a vassal should get the discount. It could also be a bit gamey in a multiplayer game, someone gets a claim on you just give the region to a vassal immediately for the steeper authority hit.
