Thanks for the discount code for being a BETA tester, but with the code it works out (slightly (£25.49 vs £25.12)) more expensive to buy it from your web store than it is to get it from STEAM with the bundle discount for owning FOG II: Medieval.
Is this intentional?
Normally I prefer to buy direct from developer sites so they don't lose the 30% STEAM commission and it's only a 47 pence difference, but it sort of takes the shine off of the "Thankyou for Beta testing our product" discount, when as a BETA tester I am being asked to pay more any STEAM user who happens to already own FOG2 :Medieval.

I am holding off buying for now as I am on a Macbook currently, and so the release is of no use to me until the weekend.
Some explanation would be appreciated.

I noticed a price difference of about 4-5$ Canadian on Steam vs the Slith store.
Turns out it was the tax. Steam was 5$ more expensive because they have to charge tax, while Slith store the tax is included. So i purchased on the Slith store because I understood that depending on volumes and sales, Slith would get less revenue from sales per copy.

That could be another variation folks are seeing because of tax or currency?

I dont have a problem with the 25% off from the beta test and if you buy the Bundle on Steam being the same thing, its still 25% off from the launch price.

By the way, its your first post? Beta testers are supposed to beta test?

We will take a look at the price on Steam and what the first coupon tier entails though.

As for posting, we decided to give a coupon to everyone who entered the beta, even if they did not post anything. Perhaps the absence of feedback meant they were mindblown by what they saw?

BTW I only post on public forums when I actually have something to say, I was not aware it was compulsory as part of the BETA testing process.
I played the BETA and did not have any issues that I deemed comment-worthy.
This is exactly the reason I keep my posts to a minimum, because there is always some keyboard warrior just waiting to call out a perceived issue with whatever you have posted (or not posted in this case).
There is enough antagonism and negativity in the real world and I really don't want it impinging on my free time.

I also noticed this morning that I had the FOG:Medieval and FOG:K "steam bundle -25%"
in my cart/basket saying its no longer available in my Country. So someone looked into it and changed something on Steam.

@Bruggenbill - then that is great news! I was also quiet during the v0.5x beta phase of the game as I didnt find anyting game-breaking. Happy its finally out now!

Coupon disappearing should be reported to Support, they should forward it to the producers in charge of Kingdoms
