Break - Rally - Break

I had an unusual situation in a game the other day. I had two BG's broken and running away form the enemy (nothing unusual in that!).
In the JAP I attempted to rally both BG's. The first succeeded and went to Fragmented. The second failed. However the rout movement of the second BG meant that it burst through the rallied BG and took it back to Broken
The question is does the unit that rallied and then broke again move in the JAP? If it does move does it burst through the unit that previously burst through it (a rout move meant that it could not have avoided the already routed BG).
Regards

ROTFLMAO.
IMHO, Any BG that breaks routs immediately and then makes a rout move in the JAP.
Though this is unusual, and highly amusing, to say the least.
I had a BG rout away from shooting through 2 BG disrupting them. In the JAP it turned around and routed through them again.

In the full turn sequence there is a step where you move routers and pursuers. There is not a step to make initial rout moves for troops broken in this phase, as you can find in other phases. IMO, you should move the BG broken by burst through but only the amount needed to remain in contact with routers who bursts through it, in fact the fragged BG breaks because interpenetrated by routers, so for me it's logical it follow the routers, not it pass them.

First off my heart bleeds for what could be one of the most embarassing game situations I have ever read about
I don't think this situation is exactly covered in the rules, as marioslaz says it does not appear to be covered in the expanded turn sequence but since it is the time to move routers and they were broken this phase I guess you would make a rout move. Not sure if you could have dropped back to avoid friends in this case.
Hopefully you have better die rolls next time
