Been reading through Swifter than Eagles and looking at the Median army.

Quite like the mobility of the mounted with a decent MF to take/hold terrain.

Also who makes figures suitable for this army?

Early early Aechemenid persians should suit for most of them.

I'd be happier if my armies where as good as my wit sometimes.

Either way comments on the worthiness of the army would be appreciated.

I haven't used the army but I wonder if you wouldn't be better off with more mounted and without the the 3 BG of MF Sparabara. They feel like enough MF to get in trouble but not enough to be decisive for anything. You could field something very similar to this with the Late Achaemenid Persian list using Skythian/Saka allies and not have the MF.

I think this list looks like a lot of fun. I've half a mind to try something like that myself.
Need figures? Achaemenid Persians should do the job nicely.
