Can Light Chariots that are in 2x2 formation evade?
Sorry, I know I could look it up, but I haven't got my rules on me.

They can evade only if they are 1 base deep, since your BG is 2 deep no evade. Better hope for lucky die rolls in that case.

No, I was just thinking tactics, so the tactic I had in mind wouldn't work.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Err, you did see the question was wrt chariots not cavalry right? Does that make any difference?

Nope. Each type needs to be entirely one base deep to evade.

cav and chariots are the same for evading, the only chariots I have are scythed and they never evade.
Just a similar thought I had at one time since I can make my horse archers LH or Cav, I went with LH since they can evade all the time and I would have to keep the cav spread out 4 wide which means they will likely run into something in the way if I had to evade them.
