How do you add a trait to a unit ?

Hello !
I've learned to use the editor in order to "correct" some units (like the movement of the Death Company with jump-packs in the excellent units overhaul mod) but I couldn't find any option to add a trait.
I want to give the Steel Legions mortar unit the "indirect fire" and "siege" traits which should have been included in the mod (one of the very rare mistakes and omissions I could notice).
How do you proceed ?
