Light Camelry anomaly

Light camelry are clearly defined as skirmishers, and are deemed to move as if Light Horse; fine. Though it says on p.102 of the rules that camelry are treated as cavalry, it doesn't say that light camels should be treated as light horse.
However, the number of shooting dice are only stated for light foot or light horse; not light camelry, or 'mtd skirmishers'.
In close combat Light Foot and Light Horse both lose 1 dice per 2 unless fighting other LF or LH. On the face of it then, light camelry should't lose 1 dice per 2....but then unless you treat them as light horse tjey don't get any shooting dice in the first place.
So, I assume we should be treating light camelry as analagous to LH?
