I downloaded a number of 1 v 1 scenarios and then extracted them. I then created a folder called multiplayer and put the extracted files in there. That didn't work so I then moved them to the scenario folder and deleted the multiplayer folder. When I click multiplayer on the game menu it says something about requiring a DLC. When I clicked scenario, nothing shows.
How do I get these scenarios to work and will they work with the base game?

You need to purchase/install at least 1 DLC to get access to custom/multiplayer scenarios and the editor.
Put the scenarios in the My Games....Scenarios folder.

Custom mods go into the My Games...Mods folder.
