Surprised About Multiplayer

My friend and I purchased PZ Corps 2 during the Xmas sale and were very surprised when we found out at the forum that scenarios in all DLCs are single player only. We have also noticed that the single player scenarios in the base game are larger, more detailed and interesting than the multiplayer ones. For example single player scenarios like Crete or the End of Bulge. The latter looks way more interesting than the multiplayer Ardennes scenario which is very simplistic.
I would have thought that multiplayer scenarios would require less programming considering that you don't need scripts for the AI. It is the first computer game that either of us have purchased where all scenarios did not have the option of either single player or multiplayer.
We have no interest in any of the DLC's because of this and if The Pacific DLC is released we will only purchase it if all the scenarios can be played multiplayer.
Maybe the developers of PZ Corps 2 should issue an update so that all scenarios can be played multiplayer.
