Chess maps, taking last victory hex or destroy last enemy unit?

I was wondering, scoring wise, what is the best option to finish the chess map games if a game goes well. Sometimes I have the option to, or take the last victory hex, or destroy the last enemy unit. I guess I have to read the tournament briefing again and better but maybe someone has a direct clear answer for a comrad in doubt? If so thanks! And if the last unit is on that last hex, you can't take the hex right, the game ends straight away. But scoring wise does it make a difference? Have fun games!

Scoring primarily depends on the completion of the given or directed "Mission Objectives". Usually!... the destroying of Units does not measure into your Mission Completion for final victory.
